Tripunithura,
the former "Poornavedhapuram" is considered as the land
of temples. About 5 Kms North of the city, situates the village
called Eroor. This village is blessed by the Goddess "Pishari
Kovil Amma", with her presence.

The temple of the goddess
is situated at about 1 Km west of the Pishari Kovil Bus Stop (Sharye
Pady) Eroor-Tripunithura Road.
By
Rail
There
are train services to Ernakulam from almost all major cities in
India. Alight at either Ernakulam Junction (Ernakulam South) or
Ernakulam Town (Ernakulam North). From there local busses and
taxies are available. You can catch direct busses to Eroor or
you can catch busses to Tripunithura. From Tripunithura taxies
and autorikshaws to the temple or you can catch busses to Eroor.
If you are coming by bus to Eroor, get down at "Pishari Kovil
stop" (Sharye Pady).From there the temple can be approached
even by walk or by autorikshaw.
By
Road
Coming from North of Ernakulam, get down at Ernakulam. There are
KSRTC services to Tripunithura and local bus services directly
to Eroor and Tripunithura. Taxis are also available. Coming from
South of Ernakulam, i.e. from Trivandrum area, some busses passes
through Tripunithura. Then you can directly reach Tripunithura
without touching Ernakulam.

International Airport at Nedumbassery, the nearest airport which
is the about 39KM away from Tripunithura. There are flights to
Kochi from Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
